Consignment Clothes

Melise's Policy on Accepting Merchandise:

To Ensure Quality Consignments for our shoppers, Please

1. Ensure that all clothing is clean, has been freshly laundered, and on hangers.
2. Ensure that all clothing is "gently used" that is free of stains, rips, tears, worn out knees, fading, pilling, missing buttons, broken zippers or torn seams.
3. Ensure that all clothing is fashionable and season appropriate.
4. Ensure that all footwear (boots,shoes, sandals, skates, cleats, etc.) are in near-new condition (no dirty soles or missing shoe laces).

Contract Term & Pricing:

1. Contracts are in Effect for 90 days.
2. We reserve the right to establish prices based on condition, brand, style, size and demand.
3. Items that are deemed not sellable will be donated immediately.
4. Merchandise credit can be used at any time in the store.
5. Payouts will be done at the end of the contract.  You must call at least 24 hours in advance to have a check available.
6. Any unsold items (if any) at the end of the contract term will be donated to one of the charities we support.  From time to time, we redirect our donations to other causes at special request or based on timeliness of need.
7. We are not responsible for loss due to fire, theft, or burglary.
8. Should a client wish to close his/her account, it is understood that we require a two week notification.
9. If items are not picked up, they will be donated within 1 week.

We Reserve the right not accept any consignments for reasons not previously mentioned.
